Day 8. Weather conditions last night/ yesterday went from me running in a sports bra to 3 layers of winter clothing and fog so thick my support team couldn’t even see me. The police pulled my crew over and told them they couldn’t follow me with the hazard lights on because it was unsafe but I was allowed to be on the road alone. It was one of the most terrifying moments of my life, I had to stop or I was certainly going to get hit in those conditions. I finished 103 miles yesterday. Stayed at the most magical camping ground with beautiful fur babies and FINALLY got to use my @rapidreboot boots for the first time since I’ve been here! Ready to take on this day and finish strong. This is bigger than me, this is bigger than this mission. Each mile, every minute, all the pain, all the emotion, all the fears, I set a goal everyday, sometimes hourly and I crush it. I will continue to crush these goals until I finish in loving memory of those you all have sent in to dedicate these miles to and those brave fighters and survivors. I couldn’t do this without you guys. Please help me support something that I am so very passionate about. Serene Soldier, Inc.
